I was recently contacted by freelance gaming journalist Damiano Gerli to see if I'd be interested in speaking to him about why this website was built in the first place to be featured over at Stealth Optional.
Back in 2017 when I first started gathering information to build this website I discovered that information on OverBlood 2's English voice case was hard to come by.
One of the (many) items I picked up from Yahoo! Auctions Japan while putting this website together is a VHS tape.
I've been listening to the Pod 'em Up! podcast since finding out about their episode on the original OverBlood game (released back in March 2020), so I was eager to check on their latest (and 50th) episode on OverBlood 2 when it released a few days ago.
Now that the website has been live for a few years, I spent some time going through the walkthough and making some changes.
I recently had the pleasure of appearing on the "Games My Mom Found" podcast to talk with host Mike Albertin about my "favourite gaming memory" - so naturally we talked about OverBlood 2.
YouTuber Yoko Inokuma recently uploaded a video to their channel of Overblood 2's opening scene upscaled to 720p from the original 320x176 - and it looks great.
For the second time in 2021, the speedrun record for OverBlood 2 has been broken.
Congratulations to GhoumyGhost on breaking his own OverBlood 2 speedrun record of 9h 45m 59s by around 3 hours, finishing in an impressive 6h 51m 23s.
