About the Author

So, why make a website dedicated to a game that is over two decades old and didn’t receive a great reception? Well…

I first played OverBlood 2 as a kid when it came out in the UK – around 2001. It was different enough for me to enjoy playing but I didn’t get very far and couldn’t find a walkthrough anywhere to help.

The game sat on my shelf for a few months until I decided to re-visit it and complete my own walkthrough in the process – but I never actually got around to typing it up, so instead I left an email address on various game forums for people to contact me if they had any questions.

For a few years I would get the occasional email here and there from players around the world wanting help with the game. As playthrough videos on YouTube became more popular, the emails became less frequent until they eventually stopped.

That is until mid 2017, when I received an email with the subject line; “OverBlood 2”. After an exchange of emails with a gamer from Austria, I learned there was still no walkthrough written in English for the OverBlood 2. I also noticed the videos on YouTube were also missing lots of items and some entire locations.

With that in mind, I thought it would be a fun project to go back and replay this obscure title that I enjoyed as a kid. And of course, finally write that walkthrough. During the process I imported a whole bunch of OverBlood 2 stuff from Japan – because, why not?

So here is the end result; a website dedicated to a game which most people either never saw or weren’t impressed with.
